3-Reasons to undertake an Azure Well-Architected Review (WAR)

Before we jump into the discussion about a WAR in this post, I’m going to make the assumption that you’re at least familiar with the concepts of the Microsoft Azure Well-Architected Framework (WAF) and its 5 pillars. With that said, the purpose of a review is to facilitate organisations in assessing and evaluating where they are in their Azure cloud migration journey and what their priorities are. Experts suggest that a WAR is undertaken periodically, the intervals will vary and depend on how rapidly your organisation is evolving but these reviews can easily be overlooked. So as a benchmark we suggest at least every 6 months, as this will ensure that your cloud infrastructure remains fit-for-purpose, cost-optimised, secure and scalable. 

Organisations can choose to evaluate a workload against the pillars that matter the most during the evaluation.
