ElysianIT was founded in 2014 on a simple belief: technology services should be driven by outcomes, not commercials. Between us, the three founding directors have worked together for a combined total of 58 years, across multiple organisations. That journey gave us a clear perspective – there was a better way to deliver IT.
From the beginning, we’ve focused on quality and doing what’s right for the customer.
Our story started with our very first client, UK Anti-Doping. Tasked with reviewing a legacy on-premise SharePoint environment, we uncovered plans for a costly hardware refresh proposed by their incumbent provider. Instead, we challenged convention -recommending a bold move to the Microsoft Cloud. Fourteen years later, we are still trusted to manage and evolve that environment, a testament to the strength of both the solution and the relationship.
With deep expertise in Microsoft technologies, our consultancy services quickly gained momentum. We partnered with organisations that had strong enterprise customer bases but lacked the specialist skills to deliver complex technology transformations. Our ability to bridge that gap (and consistently deliver) became a defining strength of our business.
As these projects completed, our clients asked us to stay. They valued the quality of delivery, the continuity, and the trust we had built. From this, our Managed Services offering was born, providing both fully managed solutions and specialist third-line expertise to support and enhance the environments we had implemented.
Over the years, we have successfully delivered major cloud transformation programmes across the public sector, including organisations such as the Charity Commission, Ministry of Justice, National Oceanography Centre, and the Independent Football Regulator. These engagements have reinforced our reputation for delivering secure, scalable, and user-focused Microsoft cloud solutions.
Today, while many organisations continue their journey to the cloud, our focus has evolved. We now help clients maximise the value of their investment; Optimising collaboration, streamlining platforms, developing solutions through the Power Platform, and unlocking the potential of AI.
At the heart of everything we do is our people. We have built a highly skilled, dedicated team across both consultancy and managed services, working seamlessly together to deliver exceptional outcomes for our clients. Many of our team have been with us for years, including our very first employee, who even took time out to gain experience at Microsoft before returning.
As we look ahead, Managed Services sits at the centre of our growth strategy. We are building on the strong foundations of long-standing client relationships while continuing to expand into new organisations and sectors.
Fourteen years on, we “the founders” remain hands-on, working directly with customers, shaping solutions, and driving the business forward with the same passion that started it all.
